For this new Moon Tapes, we welcome Canadian DJ & producer, Fred Everything. A key player in the world of House Music for two decades and more than 200 titles to his credit, Fred Everything is actively involved in shaping clubbing and house music made in Canada. Born in Hull and raised in Quebec City, Fred began playing in raves and clubs, bringing his famous Roland 909 and 101 across all over Canada.
At the time, it was then known simply as “Everything”, but soon it would be “Fred Everything” surrounding and collaborating closely with many artists such as Mood 2 Swing, Dennis Ferrer, Derrick Carter, Kings of Tomorrow, Robert Owens and Roy Davis or artists like, Jazzanova, and the late Curtis Mayfield.
Beginning to make a good place internationally, he will work closely with labels such as 20.20Vision, Defected, Local Talk, Tsuba, Drumpoet Community and Fabric, not to mention his own label “Lazy Days Recordings”. Soon artists like Trentemoller, Shur-I-Kan, Ian Pooley, Atjazz, Tortured Soul, Crazy P or Greg Wilson join him so that to date more than fifty references are stamped Lazy Days Recordings.
He enters the very closed circle of artists who will perform on all continents playing in the most influential clubs and festivals, London (Fabric), WMC in Miami, Paris (Showcase), Milan (Take It Lazy) , Glasgow (Subclub), Coachella (USA), Pik Nic Electronik, Igloofest, or references like the Francofolies of La Rochelle. Today Fred joined Moon Rise and we were impatient to be able to make you listen to this next Moon Tapes # 24, give it up for the pride of Quebec, Canada Fred Everything.
